How long has the festival been running?
In its inaugural year in 2023, Fraser Coast Flavours is a new extension of Hervey Bay Seafood Festival which started in 1998 by Hervey Bay commercial fishing families to raise the profile of local product and industry to the local community. Fraser Coast Flavours has expanded to include street food, craft beer, regional wines and a day filled with good seaside vibes.
Seating?
Seating is limited - Patrons are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and camp chairs.
No temporary shade structure are permitted in the venue including marquees or beach umbrellas.

Parking available in surrounding streets, any parking regulations on side roads will still apply

Transportation?
Return busses will be running between Maryborough and Hervey Bay, return bus tickets are $12pp and can be purchased here: Purchase Bus Tickets
Bus 1: departing Maryborough at City Hall at 10:15 am, arriving at 11:00 am. Departing Fraser Coast Flavours (Skateside Carpark) at 6:15 pm arriving at Maryborough 7:00 pm.

Where do I get tickets?
This event is ticketed. All tickets can be purchased via ticket purchase online from July 17, 2023.
Tickets may be available at the gate depending on availability – note ticket prices on the day increase to $15/adult
Do I need a General Admission as well as any experience tickets?
All patrons will require a General Admission Ticket before entering the event precinct and attending other event experiences.
Can I bring alcohol?
No, Fraser Coast Flavours is a fully licensed precinct. There is no BYO, all alcohol will be confiscated by security at the gate.
Can I bring my dog/pet?
No pets allowed. Assistance animals are exempt.
Provision Stalls?
Yes, there will be a range market stalls selling provisions, homewares, crafts and more.

Are companion card tickets available?
Yes, please call 1800 811 728 to arrange the purchase of your subsidised companion card entry ticket. Companion Card applies to general admission tickets only.
